Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Greathouse Custom Epoxy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any interactions with our company. By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
Our Services
Greathouse Custom Epoxy provides professional premium epoxy and concrete coating services, including but not limited to:
- Garage floor coatings
- Patio and outdoor surface coatings
- Commercial space flooring
- Concrete repair and preparation
- Custom epoxy finishes
Services are provided in Denton, Lewisville, and the greater DFW area within Texas. All work is subject to the specific terms outlined in your written estimate and service agreement.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By engaging our services, you represent that you are the property owner or have authorization from the property owner to request and approve work on the property.
Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
- All estimates are based on the information and conditions present at the time of assessment.
- Final pricing is determined by the scope of work agreed upon in writing.
- Additional work discovered during the project (such as hidden concrete damage or required repairs) will be discussed and approved by you before proceeding, and may result in additional charges.
- Prices are subject to change based on material costs and market conditions for estimates not yet accepted.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. General terms include:
- A deposit may be required to secure scheduling for larger projects.
- Balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the project.
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
- Late payments may be subject to additional fees as specified in your agreement.
- Disputes regarding payment must be submitted in writing within 7 days of invoice.
Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellation
- Project start dates are scheduled based on mutual agreement and availability.
- We will make reasonable efforts to adhere to scheduled timelines, but delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 hours in advance when possible.
- Cancellation of a confirmed project after work has begun may result in charges for work completed, materials purchased, and reasonable cancellation fees.
- We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather conditions or other factors affecting work quality or safety.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful project, you agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area during scheduled work times.
- Remove or secure valuables, breakables, and personal items from work areas (e.g., clearing the garage).
- Inform us of any known hazards, special conditions, or HOA requirements.
- Ensure pets are secured and away from work areas.
- Communicate any concerns or issues promptly during the project.
- Provide accurate information about the property and project requirements.
- Make timely decisions on color selections and project details.
Communication Consent

- Phone Calls: For scheduling, project discussions, and customer service.
- SMS/Text Messages: For appointment reminders, project updates, and customer communications.

Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Greathouse Custom Epoxy or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. Photos of completed projects may be used by Greathouse Custom Epoxy for marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing that you do not wish your project to be featured.
Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. We offer a lifetime warranty on our premium epoxy and concrete coatings. Specific warranty terms are provided in your written estimate.
Our warranty covers defects in our application of materials. The warranty does NOT cover:
- Damage caused by third parties, accidents, or acts of nature.
- Issues with underlying surfaces that were not addressed in the scope of work or structural shifts in the concrete.
- Failure of materials or products not applied by us.
- Damage resulting from improper maintenance, harsh chemicals not recommended for epoxy, or abuse.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, material shortages, or labor disputes.
- We carry general liability insurance for your protection.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greathouse Custom Epoxy, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of our services, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.
Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any disputes fairly and efficiently. If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Denton County, Texas for the resolution of any disputes.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
